Joyce Jenkins is editor and publisher of Poetry Flash. She is author of Portal and Joy Road, chapbooks, her poems have appeared in Parthenon West Review, Ambush Review, Addison Street Anthology: Berkeley's Poetry Walk, ZYZZYVA, The Place That Inhabits Us: Poems of the San Francisco Watershed, and elsewhere. She received the American Book Award, PEN Oakland Josephine Miles Lifetime Achievement Award, National Poetry Association's Distinguished Service to Poets & Poetry Award, and the Berkeley Poetry Festival lifetime achievement award.

Richard Silberg is associate editor of Poetry Flash. He teaches the Poetry Flash Workshop, The Dialogue of Poetry, and hosts the Poetry Flash Reading Series. His most recent book of poems is Deconstruction of the Blues, which received the PEN Oakland-Josephine Miles Literary Award. He won the Northern California Book Award in Translation for his co-translation of Korean poet Ko Un's The Three Way Tavern. His new and selected poems, The Horses, is forthcoming from Red Hen Press, 2012.

Mark Baldridge is board chair and development director of Poetry Flash. He is also director of Poetry Flash's annual Watershed Environmental Poetry Festival. A marketing communications professional, he has worked as a marketing manager in corporations, account services manager in advertising agencies, and director of a network of creative and production talent.

Amy Wu is managing editor of poetryflash.org and founder of Duende, a creative consultancy based in San Francisco. She read with Gary Snyder in Intersection for the Arts' Literary Series.

Steven Pine is social media editor of Poetry Flash. He holds a BA in Liberal Arts from St. John's College, New Mexico, the "Great Books" school. Since then he has traveled, was a personal assistant to Barron's Economics Editor, assisted an internationally exhibited artist, and was an ACLU fund raiser.

Megan McCrea is an editorial assistant and a contributing feature writer at Poetry Flash. A former Peace Corps volunteer, she is also a freelance writer and co-author of Federated States of Micronesia and Republic of Palau: Discover the Real Micronesia and Palau, a travel guide.




Mimi Albert is the fiction editor of Poetry Flash Literary Review. A novelist, she is author of Skirts and The Second Story Man. As book reviewer, she served as chair of the Northern California Book Awards fiction committee. She teaches fiction writing online for UC Berkeley Extension and other universities.

Catalina Cariaga is a contributing editor and board member of Poetry Flash. A poet, she is the author of Cultural Evidence. Her work is featured in Going Home to a Landscape: Writings by Filipinas. She holds an MA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University.

Sharon Coleman is a contributing editor of Poetry Flash. Poet and translator from French and Yiddish, she holds a BA in Comparative Literature, University of California, Berkeley and both an MA and MFA in Poetics from New College of California. She writes book reviews and teaches Creative Writing and English at Berkeley City College, where she is faculty advisor to Milvia Street Magazine, BCC's national award-winning, student-edited and produced literary journal.

Carol Collier is a noted computer graphic artist and book designer who redesigned Poetry Flash Literary Review and supervises print production.

Christopher Felver is a photographer whose work has been featured extensively in Poetry Flash. He is also an documentary filmmaker. His photographs are collected his books, including BEAT, The Importance of Being, Seven Days in Nicaragua Libre, The Late Great Allen Ginsberg, Angels, Anarchists & Gods, The Poet Exposed. His films include Ferlinghetti, Cecil Taylor: All the Notes, and more.

Jack Foley is a poet, critic, and host of "Cover to Cover," heard every Wednesday at 3:00 on KPFA FM Berkeley and at kpfa.org. His new work is the two-volume Visions & Affiliations: A California Literary Time Line: Poets & Poetry 1940-2005. His poetry includes Letters/Lights-Words for Adelle, Gershwin, Exiles, Adrift, Greatest Hits 1974-2003, Ash on an Old Man's Sleeve, and "A Disordered City," a chapbook in Ahadada Reader 3. His critical essays include O Powerful Western Star: Poetry & Art in California, Foley's Books: California Rebels, Beats, and Radicals, and The Dancer and the Dance: A Book of Distinctions. He is noted for his performances with his wife, Adelle, also a poet. In June 2010, he received The Berkeley Poetry Festival Lifetime Achievement Award. He is a contributing editor to Poetry Flash

Susan Kelly-Dewitt is a contributing editor of Poetry Flash. She is a poet and former Stegner Fellow at Stanford University, widely published book reviewer, and author of The Fortunate Islands. She lives in Sacramento and teaches Creative Writing for UC Davis Extension.

Stephen Kessler is a contributing editor of Poetry Flash. Poet, journalist, and translator of Borges, Neruda, and Julio Cortázar, he is also founder/editor of The Redwood Coast Review. His books include Burning Daylight, Tell It To The Rabbis and Other Poems, 1977–2000, Written in Water: The Prose Poems of Luis Cernuda, and Desolation of the Chimera by Luis Cernuda. He is a contributor to The Essential Neruda translation anthology.

Dorianne Laux is a contributing editor of Poetry Flash. Poet and teacher, her most recent collection is The Book of Men. Her books include Awake, What We Carry, Smoke, and Facts About the Moon. She received a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship, a Guggenheim, and holds an MFA from Mills College. She teaches in North Carolina State University’s Creative Writing Program.

Rusty Morrison is a contributing editor of Poetry Flash. She is the author of Whethering, winner of the Colorado Prize for Poetry, and the true keeps calm biding its story, winner of the Sawtooth Poetry Prize, the James Laughlin Award from the Academy of American Poets, and the Northern California Book Award in Poetry. Her forthcoming book, After Urgency, received the 2010 Tupelo Press Dorset Prize. She is the co-publisher of Omnidawn, based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

John Oliver Simon is a contributing editor of Poetry Flash. He is a poet and translator, and received an National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Literary Translation. Caminante, a narrow road into the far south. Son Caminos, his selected poems in Spanish, was published in Mexico City. Former statewide director of California Poets in the Schools, he is Artistic Director of Poetry Inside Out, a bilingual poetry program for children from the Center for the Art of Translation.

Chad Sweeney is the features editor of "Listening In," Poetry Flash's spotlight on poetry from MFA Programs. Poet, San Francisco State University MFA in Creative Writing, Ph.D. from Western Michigan University, his books include An Architecture, Arranging the Blaze, and Parable of Hide and Seek. He is co-editor and founder of em>Parthenon West Review, and teaches at California State University San Bernardino.

Steven C. Wilson is a photographer whose work is frequently featured in Poetry Flash. He has extensively documented the Northern California Book Awards and the Watershed Environmental Poetry Festival. Also a stained glass artist, he runs Looking Glass Collage in the Haight in San Francisco.
