Strawberry Creek Walk:
Poetry, talk, and an easy walk along beautiful Strawberry Creek through UC Berkeley and its underground path across downtown Berkeley to the Watershed Festival at Civic Center Park. Nevada County Poet Laureate Chris Olander, River Light, leads the Creek Walk, with stops for poetry by Chris and poets Kristin George Bagdanov, Fossils in the Making, Stephen Meadows, Fire and Rain: Ecopoetry of California, Fernando Salinas, "Hanging from Shallow Roots," eco-dance by poet Sharon Coleman with Barry Ebner on acoustic guitar, with nature talk and participation throughout with Elizabeth Dougherty, director of Wholly H2O. Meet at the southeast corner of Oxford at Center, on the edge of the UC Berkeley campus.
